Eat it - Dead Men's Fingers

Deliciously revolting after-school treat!


Step 1


Grill your favourite sausages until thoroughly cooked (saveloys or frankfurters are particularly easy to use, although we recommend good quality, organic, outdoor-reared pork sausages)


Step 2


When cool enough, cut the sausages in half.


Step 3


Cut a wedge shape off the rounded section of each sausage half.


Step 4

Peel an onion and remove a couple of layers.  Fry these very lightly until just beginning to soften and turn slightly hello.

Step 5

When cool enough from the softened onion layers, cut out finger-nail shapes and then press these into the cut-out part of the sausage.

Step 6

Dip the cut section into tomato sauce to make it look like the blood that is oozing out of the cut "finger" end.

Set on a plate surrounded by shredded lettuce and serve.
