So, I might be genuinely and seriously interested in ghost stories, legends of the supernatural and the occult as a writer, but Halloween is also a time for a bit of fun: fancy dress parties, trick-or-treating, watching horror movies, decorating the home in fake spider webs.....a fun way to welcome winter, I guess.
This year, with our kids now too old to want to go trick-or-treating or taking their own kids out, we dressed up in witchy outfits and headed to a charity Halloween-themed quiz event, which was great fun.
